Sailing
Puget Sound

uget Sound offers an interesting variety of sailing and exploration experiences. There are wide open waters, which allows for excellent sailing free of obstacles, both land and man made. It also has large and small islands, and an array of inlets that are fascinating to explore, as well as challenging ones sailing skills.
Of course there are the larger cities of Seattle and Tacoma. But there are also a variety of smaller city/ports like Gig Harbor, Olympia, Shelton, Port Orchard, the city and ferry slip of Kingston, that is a wonderful sailing tour. They offer a variety of size, style, and architecture that dates back to the turn of the century. The charming city of Port Townsend is a must visit, and farther into the Straits of Juan de Fuca is the city of Port Angeles, which is the most western destination the Lavengro travels.
