Discover The
San Juan Islands

he San Juan Islands are a part of the San Juan Archipelago in the northwest corner of the continental United States. The archipelago is split into two groups of islands based on national sovereignty: the San Juans are part of the U.S. state of Washington, while the Gulf Islands are part of the Canadian province of British Columbia.
The Islands enjoy a temperate climate with sunshine 247 days a year on average and half as much rain as Seattle, due to the “rain shadow” effect of the Olympic Mountains.
The San Juan Islands are the perfect getaway for sailing, Orca whale and wildlife watching, fishing, and birding. And while there side trips for sea kayaking, hiking along shorelines or waterfalls in forests, dining in gourmet restaurants, browsing through boutiques and art galleries, exploring hamlets and villages, and so much more, can be arranged. The San Juans really are a year round destination, to find out more ask your cruise agent at StarSail Cruises when planning your Charter.
